Trimberry

1. How should I start TrimBerry™?

Take one tablespoon once a day for maintenance. If you would like better control over your weight, then take one tablespoon in the morning and one in the afternoon, or two upon awakening. If you are sensitive to dietary supplements, or have any medical concerns, start with one teaspoon of TrimBerry for a day or two, then two teaspoons, then three. (Three teaspoons are equivalent to one tablespoon.)

2. What ingredients are found in TrimBerry?

There are four categories of ingredients found in TrimBerry:

  1. Exotic fruits with some of the most powerful antioxidant levels and other phytonutrients known, such as acai berry, wolfberry (Goji), GAC seed (Mubiezhi) and noni (Morinda).
  2. Natural plant ingredients such as Hoodia, Caralluma, and Cha de Bugre, which have been used for centuries in certain traditional cultures to control metabolism, appetite and weight.
  3. More common and cultivated berries and grapes chock full of antioxidants and other phytonutrients. These berries include pomegranates, wild blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, bilberries, elderberries, raspberries and grapes.
  4. Large amounts of green tea extract, which has increasingly been shown to have potent health benefits.

3. There are a lot of drinks out on the market with some of these ingredients. What makes TrimBerry special?

Unlike many other fruit-based drinks, TrimBerry has a wide range of fruit extracts that provide a broad spectrum of antioxidants and other plant nutrients (phytonutrients). Since these ingredients come from all over the world (including China, Indonesia, Africa, India, Brazil and the United States), TrimBerry offers a broader spectrum of these nutrients than what is typically found in this category of beverages. Additionally, TrimBerry is one of the few superfruit drinks that contains combination of ingredients such as Hoodia, Caralluma and Cha de Bugre, which have traditionally been used in some cultures for hunger, metabolism, and weight control. Instead of providing only one such ingredient, we use three different hunger-controlling products that work together to help you achieve your goals.

4. Why doesn't TrimBerry just focus on one or two fruits, rather than such a broad selection of ingredients?

There are over 75 trillion cells in the body, and different cells require different nutrients to function properly. Having only a single type of fruit product every day limits its nutritional contribution to your health. TrimBerry contains a broad range of fruit extracts to maximize its benefits.

5. What is the percentage of fruit juice in TrimBerry?

TrimBerry does not contain whole fruit juices; it only contains fruit and berry extracts from concentrate. These extracts contain a wide variety of plant nutrients, which make TrimBerry a powerful addition to anyone's diet.

6. Can diabetics take TrimBerry?

There is no fruit juice or added sugar in TrimBerry, only extracts of natural fruits and other botanicals. The sweet flavor of TrimBerry comes from the natural vegetable glycerine. TrimBerry is a combination of hundreds of different plant-based compounds. Some of these ingredients have been shown to help support blood sugar levels, while others have not been studied sufficiently to come to any solid conclusion. Therefore, it's best to check with your health practitioner, and then start with a smaller amount of TrimBerry and gradually increase your consumption. If you are a diabetic, monitor your blood sugar levels frequently, as with any new program you start.

7. A lot of these products say they have "X" ORAC value or "Y" ORAC value. What does that mean?

ORAC stands for "Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity," which is a type of result from a test tube. Some people say that the amount of ORAC units tells you how beneficial a product is for you.

8. So that means I should use products with the highest ORAC rating?

An ORAC reading is only a single measurement of the amount of nutrients in a product. Despite the "hype" out there, there is no evidence that a high test result in the test tube translates to greater health-enhancing properties of the food being tested. There are many important phytonutrients that are not measured by ORAC.

9. The directions say to use 1 tablespoon twice a day. If I were to take more than that, will it still be as healthy for me?

Biological systems tend to follow the "Goldilocks Rule." You need just the right amount of a nutrient to help the body stay healthy, not too little and not too much. You can always increase the amount of TrimBerry gradually, but for now, enjoy the energy and metabolic changes you experience with two tablespoons. 10. Does TrimBerry have i26 in it?

No, TrimBerry is one of our few products that does not have i26 in it. It only had pure fruit and plant extracts.

11. Can I add TrimBerry to my i26 FIT shakes or COMPLETE SUPPORT?

For maximum benefit of the plant nutrients in TrimBerry, it is not recommended that it be added to products containing milk. Studies report that milk added to tea blocks the biological activity of the naturally occurring antioxidant catechins found in tea. (Catechins, among other important phytonutrients found in tea, appear to contribute to the weight-loss properties, protect against heart disease and control mutating cells.)

12. How long do I have to wait in between taking TrimBerry and a shake?

Having one drink after the other should be fine, we just recommend not mixing them together as one drink.

13. Does taking TrimBerry interfere with medications?

There is no evidence that TrimBerry will interact with medications. However, it is always best to check with your doctor before starting any dietary supplements. If you are taking any medications, just start with 1 teaspoon or less of TrimBerry and slowly increase to the daily two-tablespoon amount.

14. I am a thin person. Will using TrimBerry cause even more weight loss?

We do not have enough information to answer this question. Gradually introduce TrimBerry into your diet and let us know about the amount of energy you have and how you feel.

15. Will TrimBerry make me jittery?

People report that TrimBerry provides them with focused energy without becoming jittery. If you have concerns, start with a smaller amount and slowly increase the amount of TrimBerry you consume.

16. Does TrimBerry have to be refrigerated?

It is recommended that you refrigerate or keep TrimBerry chilled after opening.

17. Is using TrimBerry safe during pregnancy?

We suggest that pregnant and nursing women not consume TrimBerry. Most doctors would suggest that pregnancy is not the time to be concerned about losing weight, but you should be eating a well-rounded and nutritious diet and exercising gently. Although the ingredients in TrimBerry have been used for years to suppress appetite, no scientific studies have been published to show that all ingredients are safe during pregnancy.
